Dried Flower Arrangements

There is something very special about dried flowers and although they may seem to be an unconventional choice, they are definitely on trend. Simply adding dried flowers or plants instantly enhances your environment, and they don’t need too much maintenance! Dried flowers are a great choice for an arrangement at an event or to decorate your home interior.

You may have seen on the odd occasion people dry their wedding bouquet as a keep sake but now dried flowers are popping up more and more as a sustainable and long-lasting option.

While they are definitely less maintenance than fresh flowers, if you are keeping a dried flower arrangement, it will still require some care. These are best kept indoors and out of sunny areas, and also do better in dry environments so try to avoid humidity. Try not to get your dried flowers wet. To prevent the petals from falling, spray hairspray on them.

Dried flowers give an earthy and textural feel to the space they're in, and once dried often lose some of their colour, but are never dull. They take on a muted tone, which makes for almost monochrome type. Dried flower arrangements can be minimalist and fashionable if done in a certain way.

They are delicate yet strong, and depending on how they are arranged, can make a modern sculptural statement or add a vintage romantic feel to a space. Adding fresh flowers or other foliage to the dried flowers also makes for an interesting arrangement. Dried flowers are a stunning choice that allow you to enjoy the arrangement for longer, making them a cost-effective and sustainable option for your home.
