Director

Jacqui Mitchell

"Helping people make decisions for the design of their homes a smooth process, is a passion of mine. I love kiwi innovation and the can do attitude we have here in New Zealand. Making a home function practically for your family, while remaining beautiful is my philosophy. Having built and designed my own homes, I know the ins and outs of all the choices that are available. Working along side you and getting to know your ideas is the start of a great foundation for a gorgeous home."

Interior Designer

Toni Spiers

"Originally from the tiny island of Guernsey, I have been proudly living in beautiful Mount Maunganui for the past twenty-two years.  I’ve always had a love for design and colour – all through my life, before Twill I was working in retail purchasing and merchandising.  I completed my studies in Interior Design and joined Jacqui and the team in 2016.  My vision is that I can bring a positive, approachable and refreshing energy to interpret each client’s passions and style… and I love it when my clients are open to trying to mix it up a bit!"

Window Furnishings Specialist

Josephine Gibbard

"I think the world of Design is folded into my DNA strands! I count family members in the business like fingers on my hands, interior designers, fabric importers and wholesalers, upholstery makers, furnishing manufacturers, fashion designers and more. My parents renovated everything they could get their hands on. While kids were riding bikes, I was unpicking my Nana's gloves to copy a pattern, or making my little brother a stuffed toy and fabric house! I learned about the design industry on the job in the showroom, sewing room, warehouse and factory floor. No surprise then that I ended up studying art and textiles at Whitecliffe College of Arts and Design. Since then I've been in fashion, furnishing and creative roles while continuing to dabble with my art. I coordinate the window furnishings at Twill and it is my favourite role yet. I love the dynamics of a small team where we bounce ideas off each other and share knowledge. I love coming to work!"
